Ex. 19:2-6a | Ps. 100:1-2, 3-5 | Mt. 9:36-10:8 | Rom 5:6-11
During the summer we will have time to refresh our lives and enjoy the gifts given to us by God. Paul reminds us that we are all sinners, who are loved by God, and invited to reflect on the story of salvation. We hear the call to use the gifts of God to help others on the journey to heaven.
We are also reminded that the Kingdom of God is at hand. We are invited to join with others and give thanks for all God has given us and all God wants us to enjoy. The key, however, is not abuse our use of all these gifts. Take time to give thanks for all you have. Remember to thank God for all the spiritual gifts you have as well as other gifts.
