Ezra 1:1-6 | Ps. 126:1-6 | Lk. 8:16-18
Jesus reminds us that we have been given the lamp of God’s love in Baptism. God’s grace is abundant in our lives. We are called to have eyes that look for those graces and to accept them. Once we do so, we must go out and let others see this wonderful love of God in our lives. If we respond to these graces and pour out our lives in love for others, God will never let us go dry or allow our lamps to grow dim. God will continue to pour out love upon us in abundance.
Take time to consider how you allow the lamp of God’s love to be seen by others. Do you bring God’s peace and joy wherever you go? How can you do a better job? Ask God for the help you need to continue to do so.
