As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, we invite all to join in the National Night of Prayer which bridges the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patroness of the Americas and the Unborn.
Join us on December 8th for an evening of prayer to include adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Holy Rosary, hymns, silent prayer and meditation.
You may begin with the 6:00pm Mass and join us in procession to the fire pit where we’ll pray for the Holy Spirit to be with us.
Prayer in the church will be from 7:00pm until 1:00am December 9th. We’ll pray for God’s blessing, the preservation of life from conception to natural death, for the needs of the pre-born, young mothers, families, special needs, the elderly, peace for the Nation and the World; and end to human trafficking and capital punishment.
The fire will burn throughout the night, so please bring a chair and/or a blanket for any time you may wish to spend fireside. We’ll provide water, hot chocolate, coffee and single serve snacks.
Jesus brings light to our darkness and chases away our fears and asks us to do the same for each other. All are welcome to join us as they are able, but to ensure at least two are always present with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, we are organizing the evening with Sign Up Genius.
