St. Blaise, is best known as the patron saint of people with sore throats. On this day in many places people gather in churches for the blessing of throats.
Due to the scheduling complexities around the special Mass for those who have experienced the death of a child, the groundbreaking, and Bishop’s schedule, the blessing of throats that traditionally accompanies the Feast of St. Blaise will take place at all the Masses on Sunday, February 12th.
