1Kings 12:26-32; 13:33-34 : Ps. 106:6-7, 19-22 | Mark 8:1-10
Jesus has compassion on us all the time. We are his people and he will always be with us and come to our aid. Once again Jesus sees the crowd going hungry and he looks for ways to feed them. Jesus also sees our hungry hearts and spirits and will feed them. The difficulty is that we do not always recognize our own hunger and do not go to him to be fed. Today, find time to look at your own spiritual hunger and go to Jesus to feed that hunger.
How much time do you spend in looking at your hunger for God?
For what do you long from God?
Give some time to this hunger before you end your day. Call upon God to help you see your own hunger and then to satisfy that hunger.
