Tuesday of the Sixth Week in Ordinary Time

James 1:12-18 | Ps. 94:12-15, 18-19 | Mark 8:14-21

The disciples do not quite understand what Jesus is saying when he tells them to be aware of the yeast of the Pharisees.  He asks them if they have eyes and fail to see and ears and fail to hear.  Today, God asks us the same questions.  How busy are we with the activities of our day and world that these things prevent us from hearing the voice of God and seeing the action of God in our lives?

What do you consider important in your life?

Does God have any part in your response?

Do you look for God in the activity of your day?

Do you listen to the Spirit leading you?

What do you need to change about the activity of your day?

Are you willing to pay the price to hear God?  To see God?
