Solomon calls out in praise to God before the Altar of the Temple and speaks his plea before God for his people.  Solomon’s prayer is from the depths of his heart and with deep sincerity.  The Pharisees, on the other hand, are challenging Jesus concerning the keeping of the letter of the law.  Jesus confronts them about their insincerity and desire to do what God wants.   They find all kinds of ways to get around the letter of the law instead of worshiping God from their heart.

On which side are you?:  The side of Jesus and Solomon or the side of the Pharisees?  What proof do you have of this?

How might God be challenging you to look at the ways you respond to God’s call in your life?

In what areas do you need to change your attitudes?
