Saturday of the Fifteenth Week in Ordinary Time
Ex. 12:37-42 | Ps. 136:1, 10-15, 23-24 | Mt. 12:14-21
Jesus has come to heal and save the people. He respected and is actually pursued by the Pharisees because He is raising their consciousness to what is of God and what is of themselves.
Because Jesus is pursued, He is no longer able to work in that area. The prophet Isaiah is quoted
reminding us that Jesus came to fulfill all the prophecies and to bring all people to God. This
prophesy tells us that Jesus came to bring health of mind, body, and soul to all people. What a great gift we have been given in Jesus!
How often do you reflect on the gift of Jesus? Do you take Jesus’ great work of redemption for granted? How do you allow the work of Christ to touch your heart, your spirit? How will you bring the life of Christ to others?
