Jesus is assuring us today that if we hear His word, believe it and follow it, we will have eternal life. He also assures us that His whole purpose of coming is to save us. There is no one whom He excludes. We are holding the ball. If we choose not to accept it and drop it, then we are calling forth the judgment against ourselves. If we pick up the ball and run with it, we will have life eternal. If we choose to remain in darkness, then we judge ourselves.
Today, choose the Light and reject darkness. Choose to listen to the Word of God which has come to you in Jesus. Spend time with Christ. Accept His Words of love and compassion. This is the reason for Christ’s coming. Pass the Light onto others.
