Tobit is still on the road to recovery.  Tobias has followed each direction given by the Archangel, Raphael.  God continues to bless the family as they have been open to God’s message and God is faithful to His Word.  

Jesus is watching the people give money to the treasury.  He is talking to them about the gift of the rich as compared to a poor widow with very little.  As Jesus sees this, he reminds his apostles that stewardship is not about the amount that we give to the church but the joy we exhibit in what we give.  God will not be outdone in generosity.
