2 Cor. 3:15, 4:1, 3-6 | Ps. 25:9ab, 10, 11-14 | Mt. 5:20-26

Paul’s letter to the Corinthians tells us that we are called to live a life of following Jesus in all we do.  Jesus is warning us that we should not hold onto anger against others.   That is what a disciple does.  He/she is invited to love all people.  We should not call them by names.  We should come to know how God invites us to love those with whom we come into contact.  All of these readings are given to us so we can practice being people who love God and neighbor.  Doing so, we will help bring love, joy and peace to our world.
