1Tim. 1:15-17 | Ps. 113:1-7 | Lk. 6:43-49
Paul continues to give thanks to God for all that God has done for him despite the fact that he is a sinner. This leads into the Gospel statement that good trees bear good fruit and bad trees bear bad fruit. The good/bad is stored in a person’s heart. If we fill our lives with goodness, then we produce goodness and vice-versa. Jesus also calls us to build our lives on Him, placing all our trust and following the path shown by him. Doing so, we will not fall.
How do you build your house of faith? On whom/what do you build the foundation? Where is Christ in all of this? Do you need to change anything? How will you do so?
