Jesus knew how relevant his command to “fear not” would be throughout the ages, considering how often he repeated it. These simple two words are easy enough to say, but much more difficult to live, especially in difficult times.
Jesus transmitted healing love and hope wherever he was. This same hope transforms us into being able to live from a deeper center. Anxiety constricts us in upon ourselves. Love and hope unfurl us into life in the fullness of the Lord.
We can offer hope to those around us when we share our gifts and talents. Wherever we are and in whatever we are doing, we can be transmitters of the hope that comes from the love and mercy of Jesus.
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. – Hebrews 6:19”
