The St. Joseph Family Life Center is a response to a dream that was shared at a Stewardship Committee meeting three years ago. Two of our parishioners, a married couple, saw the need for a center that would provide an aesthetically uplifting sacred space for:
- Faith formation of all ages
- Family retreats
- Ongoing catechesis for adults
- Hosting Family Promiseparticipants who are transitioning from homelessness to stable housing and new opportunities
Thanks to their incredible generosity, which has inspired even more supporters, the dream is now becoming a reality.
Construction is a step-by-step process, and it begins with County approvals. You may have noticed the yellow Alachua County Land Use signs on campus. The St. Joseph Family Life Center will be located on the west side of the church.
